The Better Event Medicine project is work by Owain Davies, who has over 20 years experience in the event medicine field, having worked at everything from the smallest events as a solo first-aider, to as a commander at some of the UK’s largest public gatherings.
Owain has painstakingly researched event medicine through the literature and through field experience, and has used this as an author on the new National Event Medicine Standard for the Department of Health and NHS England, and for the Purple Guide.
